To Da Lat I have arrived after a 7-8h bus trip from Nha Trang, by the slowest possible bus
)
The town is located in the “Vietnamese Alps” region on the altitude of 1500m, thanks to that it’s a little bit “fresher” than other parts of southern Vetnam.
The town itself is not very interesting except the very big market in the central place of the town and a “crazy house” that looks a little bit similar to Gaudi’s houses in Barcelona ![]()
The most interesting activity in this area is however the visit of surrounding villages on a motorbike. Once you’re in Da Lat you can find easily some “easy drivers” who will guide you through the villages on a motorbike and will show you some coffee, fruits, flowers plantations, silk factory and some waterfalls.
